Clio es sin duda una de las marcas de maquillaje a la que siempre vuelvo y que llama mi atención, sea por sus labiales, como por sus sombras o sus cushion y delineadores.
Mi primer amor de la marca fue el delineador kill black en versión brush, y eso marcó un precedente para lo que espero obtener de mis delineadores, y que ha sido sólo superado por un contendiente muy humilde, como es el lápiz con punta de pincel, powerproof tank liner.
Esto de hoy, es la reseña de su delineador más reciente, con un novedoso mecanismo de acción.
Clio is without a doubt one of the brands of makeup that I always come back to and that catches my attention, wether for its lipsticks, as for its eyeshadows or its cushion and eyeliners.
My first love of the brand was the Kill black brush eyeliner, that set a precedent for what I hope to get from my eyeliners, and that has only been surpassed by a very humble contender, as is powerproof tank liner from the saem brand.
So today, this is the review of their most recent eyeliner, with a novel mechanism of action.

Cómo usar

3.- Rellena con el contenido a lo largo de la línea de los ojos, dibuja tres puntos desde el principio de los ojos.
4.- Relaciona los 3 puntos y rellena los dos.
5.- Usa el pincel para dibujar una cola distintiva.

How to use:
1.- Remove the protecting ring and press the cap and the pen together.

3. Linked the 3 points together and fill in between.
4. Use the brush to draw a distinctive eye tail.

El empaque se parece mucho al del delineador Kill black. Clio no pone mucha información en inglés disponible, ni siquiera a veces la lista de ingredientes, así que eso es algo que siempre debo buscar en su web oficial.
El empaque indica las instrucciones de uso, y la fecha de elaboración del producto, además de incluir también el símbolo de expiración tras la apertura, que en el caso de delineadores, siempre es de 6 meses.
El delineador es de formato lápiz pero con punta de pincel. Es ligeramente más ancho que otros delineadores y su extremo se puede girar.
Cuando recién abres el delineador, te fijarás que tiene un sello redondeado que debes quitar, para luego poder encajar el extremo del pincel en el tubo donde está la tinta del delineador.
En el cuerpo del delineador nuevamente hallas la fecha de elaboración del producto y el símbolo de expiración.

The packaging looks a lot like the Kill black eyeliner. Clio doesn't put much information available in english, sometimes not even the ingredients list, so that is something that I should always look for in its official website.
The packaging indicates description, directions, manufacturing date of the product and, in addition to including the expiration symbol after opening, which in the case of eye liners, is always 6 months.
The eyeliner is in pencil format but with a brush tip. It is slightly wider than other eyeliners and its end can be rotated.
When you open the eyeliner, you will notice that it has a rounded plastic piece that you must remove, so that you can fit the end of the brush piece in the tube where the eyeliner ink is.
In the body of the eyeliner you find again the manufacture date of the product and the expiration after opening symbol.

Cuando salió esta nueva versión (que me dio un déjà vu tremendo, ya les contaré) yo estaba feliz porque el sistema de rotación era súper innovador, la marca decía que la fórmula había sido mejorada y etc. Yo, en mi ingenuidad ante esas promesas, y porque aún no había ni una sola reseña occidental de este delineador (y creo que no hay), me lo traje en un pedido que hice a Beautyboxkorea, ya que el bendito delineador sólo estaba ahí.
Cuando llegó, lo probé de inmediato. Saqué el seguro, lo agité, el pincel venía blanco (porque ese es su color original) y al girar la base, se comenzó a teñir de negro y como imaginarán, yo estaba más feliz que hijo único en navidad. El tema es que claro, la primera vez fue una buena experiencia, pero ésta fue la única experiencia así y este delineador muy pronto me hizo sacar canas verdes.
Promesas: delineador de fórmula duradera a prueba de agua y de borrones.
Detalles: formato lápiz con aplicador tipo pincel, se debe girar para que la tinta asome al pincel, dura 6 meses abierto, se debe agitar cada vez antes de aplicar. Contiene 1,3 ml.
Mi experiencia: cuando lo comencé a usar confié en que este sistema de girar la base y hacer que fluya más tinta, sería algo bueno y cómodo para el uso diario. Pues me equivoqué.
Resulta que el tener que girar todos los días el famoso dial para que aparezca el tinte es molesto, más aún cuando te dicen "gira 3 veces" y lo haces y nada pasa, giras de más y sale tremenda pelota de tinta que hay que devolver al interior girando para el otro lado.
Y así todos los días en que te quieras delinear.
Es molesto. Más aún cuando necesitas salir y estás apurada.
Aparte del fracaso que es este sistema de girar y devolver, la formulación del delineador tampoco es tan "Superproof" como la marca menciona. Si bien resiste totalmente el frote en seco (recién aplicado en la mano, no en el rostro), una vez que hay agua involucrada se comienza a salir...y con aceite, se sale más.
Aplicado en mis ojos, me puede durar todo el día siempre y cuando no llore ni sude o mi maquillaje sea muy humectante, porque eso es motivo suficiente para pasar un dedo o la mano y adiós cat eye.
Hice una prueba final para ver qué tan bien aguantaba algunas condiciones y sólo soporta bien el frote en seco (en mi mano). En mi rostro, donde ya he aplicado protector solar y una sombra, resiste bien el frote, pero se difumina y borronea un poco el borde.
Asi que a fin de cuentas...lo lamento, pero este delineador no pasa la prueba ni lo que espero de un delineador. Además, su precio tampoco fue barato (casi 20 dólares), y por ese precio, espero algo supergenial, que en el caso de este delineador no lo es.
Fin, a gastarlo y no vuelvo a caer con este reempaque. Ah si!, porque esa sensación de déjà vu que les conté, era real. Este delineador es el reempaque de una antigua versión llamada Twisturn, que al menos tenía muchos colores, y la promocionaban Dara de 2ne1 y Hyori, y que tenía el mismo problema actual: su método twist & turn es engorroso.

As I told at the intro, many years ago I tried the classic Kill black eyeliner with brush applicator, and I fell in love. That put a very high standar on other eyeliners that I had and have tried, only surpassed by the not so famous powerproof tank from The saem.
When this new version came out (which gave me a tremendous déjà vu, I'll tell you later) I was happy because the rotation system was super innovative for me, the brand said that the formula had been improved and so on. Myself, in my naive consumer mind fell at those promises, and because there wasn't even a single western review of this eyeliner, I brought it in an order I made to Beautyboxkorea, since the blessed eyeliner was only there.
When it arrived, I tried it immediately. I took out the security seal, I twisted it, the brush that came white (because that is its original color) it began to be dyed black and as you can imagine, I was happier than every child at Christmas. The issue is that, of course, the first time was a good experience, but this was the only experience like this and this eyeliner very soon made me take for a big burden.
Promises: eyeliner with a powerful, waterproof and smudge proof formula.
Details: pencil format with brush type applicator, it must be twisted so that the ink sticks to the brush, it lasts 6 months open, it must be shaken every time before applying. It contains 1.3 ml.
My experience: when I started using it I trusted that this system to turn the base and make more ink flow, would be something good and comfortable for daily use. Well, I was wrong.
It turns out that having to rotate the famous dial every day for the ink to appear is annoying, even more so when they say "rotate 3 times" and you do it and nothing happens, you spin too much and a big ball of ink comes out and has to be returned inside turning to the other side.
And so every day you want to make an eyeline.
And it's annoying. More so when you need to go out and you're in a hurry.
Apart from the failure of this system to twist and retwist, the formulation of the eyeliner is not as "Superproof" as the brand mentions. While it totally resists dry rubbing (newly applied on the hand, not on the face), once water + rubbing is involved it starts to come out... and with oil, more is released.
Applied in my eyes, it can last me all day as long as I don't cry or sweat, or my makeup is very moisturizing, because that is enough reason to pass a finger or hand for the eyeline, and goodbye cat eye.
I did a final test to see how well it endured some conditions and only stands well with dry rubbing (in my hand). In my face, where I have already applied sunscreen and an eyeshadow, it resists rubbing well, but it blurs a bit if I rub the edge of my eyeline.
So in the end... I'm sorry, but this eyeliner doesn't pass the test or what I expect from an eyeliner. In addition, its price wasn't cheap (almost 20 dollars), and for that price, I hope something supergenial, which this eyeliner isn't.
Finally, I have to spend it and won't fall again with this repackaging. Oh yes, because that feeling of déjà vu that I told you, was real. This eyeliner is the repackaging of an old version called Twisturn, which at least had many colors, and was promoted by Dara of 2ne1 and Hyori, and had the same current problem: its twist & turn method is a mess.

Les había adelantado que ya ahora habiendo terminado las reseñas de Jolse, iba a ponerme manos a la obra con las reseñas de productos que he comprado y otras que he recibido de patrocinios locales. Lamento comenzar con una reseña negativa, pero aprovecho a que aún no hay muchas reseñas sobre este delineador (de hecho, creo que no hay y eso me extraña) para que eviten comprarlo y gasten su dinero en otra cosa.
Creo que lo que más me frustra de este delineador, es que su precio fue alto y no suelo gastar eso en un delineador...ahora en la caja de Jolse me llegó el de Hope Girl que es muchísimo mejor, y que su valor es de sólo 8 dólares. En fin, ahora entenderán mejor mi decepción con este producto de Clio 😪.
Para dentro de poco si les traeré otras reseñas de mejor tono!
Creo que lo que más me frustra de este delineador, es que su precio fue alto y no suelo gastar eso en un delineador...ahora en la caja de Jolse me llegó el de Hope Girl que es muchísimo mejor, y que su valor es de sólo 8 dólares. En fin, ahora entenderán mejor mi decepción con este producto de Clio 😪.
