La reseña de hoy es sobre este pack de productos de Kerasys, la marca capilar coreana más conocida por sus bajos precios, y que llegó este año con más líneas a Beauty Store.
La línea propolis promete simplemente entregar una carga de nutrientes para que el cabello esté saludable y brillante, veamos si lo cumple...aunque si ustedes han visto mis historias, saben de sobra cuál es mi respuesta.

Today's review is about this Kerasys hair care line, one of the most popular hair care brand from S.Korea (and the most affordable).
Propolis line just promises to give nourishment to hair, so that way can be healthy and shining. Let's see if this can fulfill that claims...although maybe you know the answer, if you're watching my Instastories.

Cómo usar
Lava bien las manos con agua corriente y aplica champú en las manos para distribuirlas sobre el cuero cabelludo y el cabello, comienza a masajear el cuero cabelludo húmedo y el cabello hasta que haga espuma y enjuaga.
Después de lavar con champú, enjuaga adecuadamente.
Después de eliminar el exceso de agua del cabello, aplica el tratamiento en la palma de la mano y extiéndelo por todo el cabello o las partes dañadas de manera uniforme y enjuaga bien después de aproximadamente un minuto de masaje.

How to use
Rinse your hands thoroughly with running water and apply shampoo in you hands to distribute over scalp and hair, start massaging the wet scalp and hair until foams and rinse.

El empaque de esta línea de Propóleo está diseñado en tonos muy similares a la miel y derivados. No hay información en inglés disponible (la marca no suele tener esa generosidad con el público que no habla coreano), pero al menos incluye fecha de elaboración y vencimiento en la base de la botella, y una muy breve descripción de inglés en el frente de las botellas.
Son empaques muy grandes, de 1 litro cada uno, y tienen dispensador que puedes abrir o cerrar (con dificultad pero se puede lograr).
La marca cambió el empaque de esta línea, asi que ahora recuerda más que nunca a la línea de Propóleo de Skinfood 😂.

This Propolis lene packages are designed in a very "Honey" theme. There's no english available information (the brand doesn't usually have that generosity with the public that doesn't speak korean), but at least it includes manufacturing and expiration date in the base of the bottle, and a very brief description in english in the front of the bottles .
Both bottles are very large packages, 1 lt. each, and have dispenser that you can open or close (with difficulty but can be achieved).

La línea de Propóleo de Kerasys, promete lograr un cabello saludable y brillante. Y sin lugar a dudas lo cumple.
¿Cuál es la clave?
Como lo he repetido en otras ocasiones cuando he reseñado shampoos y acondicionadores, hay tres cosas que considero:
1.- Que el pH del producto sea el adecuado; y para nuestro cuero cabelludo y nuestro cabello, siempre lo mejor será un pH ligeramente ácido, como el de nuestros limpiadores de rostro. ¿Por qué? porque el cuero cabelludo también es piel, señores, y necesita ser cuidado con el mismo respeto. Y porque nuestra fibra capilar, que aunque sea un ente muerto, carente de vida, es algo que igualmente necesita ser bien tratado, limpiado y acondicionado, para que no sea propensa a quiebres por falta de elasticidad e hidratación, a limpiadores agresivos que sólo abren sus cutículas y dejan pajoso el cabello, además de hacerlo más propenso a la estática.
2.- Aparte del pH, lo sensorial que nos entrega un shampoo y un acondicionador, es importante.
Esta experiencia casi diaria cuando te lavas el cabello, tiene que ser algo que te satisfaga. Que haga la suficiente espuma, que tenga un olor agradable, que sientas el cuero cabelludo limpio mas no tirante ni irritado o con picazón, que tu fibra capilar se sienta suave y no como pelo de choclo seco. Detalles así ayudan a que uno se sienta satisfecho con un shampoo o acondicionador.
3.- Que contenga ingredientes que ayuden a tu cabello a sentirse más suave; en el caso de cabellos dañados y/o tinturados, siliconas.
Mi cabello es tinturado, por ende ya está agredido, ya está sensibilizado, y lo mejor en el caso de cabellos tinturados, son las siliconas, no tanto los aceites naturales. Y tanto este shampoo como el acondicionador, contienen tres de ellas (Dimeticona, amodimeticona y ciclopentasiloxano), para que ayuden a que el cabello se desenrede más fácil, a que no oponga resistencia al cepillado, que no produzca estática, y a que brille mucho, aparte de cumplir una función emoliente sobre el cuero cabelludo y las cutículas de la fibra.
Tanto el shampoo como el acondicionador tienen un aroma muy rico similar al de la miel, aunque sé que a algunas personas les puede parecer muy fuerte, es un aroma que me gusta mucho (amo la miel). Así que ese es un punto que debes considerar si quieres probar este producto.
La experiencia en uso es buenísima. Yo no tengo caspa así que no tomo en cuenta este factor, pero tanto mi hija como mi marido tienen a veces y este shampoo les ayuda a limpiar de manera suave pero efectiva, ayudándoles a controlar la producción de sebo/grasa desde el cuero cabelludo/barba.
En mi caso, el shampoo puede limpiar bien, sin dejarme con esa sensación de picor que sentía a veces con el shampoo de la línea damage care. Aparte de limpiar bien, deja el cabello suave y bastante manejable.
El acondicionador es muy denso y eso ayuda precisamente a no tener que gastar tanto producto para lograr un cabello suave, desenredado y sin estática al peinar. De hecho, ya gastamos la botella completa de shampoo y de acondicionador queda aproximadamente la mitad. Me facilitó mucho la tarea de peinar a mi hija menor (cabello larguísimo y liso) y de peinar mi cabello cuando lo tuve muy largo (lo recorté hace un mes). Y no necesité usar serum acondicionador o suavizante (el de Innisfree) durante este tiempo. El acondicionador deja el cabello bien protegido y preparado en solo ese paso.
Detalle aparte, tanto el shampoo como el acondicionador vienen en botellas de 1 litro, por lo que perfectamente puede ser de uso familiar, o puede durarte muchísimo si lo usarás sólo tú. Este tamaño podría jugarte en contra a la hora de comprarlo directo a Corea, pues el sobreprecio por el peso, es bastante más de lo que pagamos acá por el producto.
Así que, en conclusión, tenemos acá un par de productos que cumplen lo que prometen: cabello brillante y manejable, con aspecto saludable; y a un precio muy asequible, considerando también la cantidad de producto.
Recomendado para cabellos dañados, resecos o tinturados, y para quienes tengan el cuero cabelludo sensibilizado.

This Kerasys Propolis line promises to achieve healthy and shiny hair. And without a doubt this product combo can make it real.
Which is the key?
As I have told on other occasions when I have reviewed shampoos and conditioners, there are three things I consider:
1.- That product pH is adequate; and for our scalp and our hair, always the best will be a slightly acidic pH, like those facial cleansers we use. Why? because the scalp is also skin, ladies and gentlemen, and it needs to be cared for with the same respect. And because our hair fiber, which is a dead entity, lacking in life, is something that also needs to be well treated, cleansed and conditioned, so that way we don't make it prone to breakage due to lack of elasticity and hydration, to aggressive cleansers that only open its cuticles and leave the hair feeling like a dry grass, besides making it more prone to static electricity.
2.- Apart from the pH, the sensorial experience that gives us a shampoo and a conditioner, is important.
This almost daily experience when you wash your hair, has to be something that satisfies you. That makes enough foam, that has a pleasant smell, that you feel the scalp clean but not tight or irritated or itchy, that your hair fiber feels soft and not like dried corn hair. Details like this, help you to feel satisfied with a shampoo or conditioner.
3.- Contains ingredients that help your hair feel softer; in the case of damaged and / or dyed hair, silicones.
My hair is dyed, therefore it is already damaged, it's already sensitized, and the best thing in this dyed hair scenario, are silicones, not so much natural oils. And both this shampoo and the conditioner, contain three of them (Dimethicone, amodimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane), to help the hair being easily untangled, to resist brushing to avoid making static electricity, and to shine brightly, apart from fulfilling an emollient function on the scalp and fiber cuticles.
Both the shampoo and the conditioner have a very rich aroma similar to honey, although I know that some people may find it very strong, it's an aroma that I like a lot (I love honey). So that's a point that you should consider if you want to try this product.
The experience in use is great. I don't have dandruff, so I don't take into account this factor, but both my daughter and my husband have dandruff sometimes and this shampoo helps them cleanse gently but effectively, helping them to control the sebum production in scalp, beard in my husband.
In my case, the shampoo can clean well, without leaving me with that itchy sensation that I sometimes felt with the damage care line shampoo. Besides from making a good cleansing, it leaves the hair soft and quite manageable.
The conditioner is very dense and that helped me precisely to not overspend so much product to achieve a soft, untangled and no frizz or static hair when styling. In fact, we (as family) already spent the entire bottle of shampoo, but conditioner is about half. It made it easier for me to comb my youngest daughter hair (long, straight hair) and to comb my own hair when I had it too long (I cut it a month ago). And I didn't need to use any hair serum (Innisfree) during this time. The conditioner leaves the hair well protected and prepared in just that step.
Detail apart, both the shampoo and the conditioner come in 1 lt. bottles, so it can perfectly be for family use, or it can last a lot if is only yours. This size could play against you when buying it directly to Korea, because the price for weight is much more than what we pay here for the product.
So, in conclusion, we have here a couple of products that really make what they promise: bright and manageable hair, with a healthy aspect; and at a very affordable price, also considering the amount of product.
Recommended for damaged, dry or dyed hair, and for those with sensitized scalp.

Both the shampoo and the conditioner have a very rich aroma similar to honey, although I know that some people may find it very strong, it's an aroma that I like a lot (I love honey). So that's a point that you should consider if you want to try this product.
The experience in use is great. I don't have dandruff, so I don't take into account this factor, but both my daughter and my husband have dandruff sometimes and this shampoo helps them cleanse gently but effectively, helping them to control the sebum production in scalp, beard in my husband.
In my case, the shampoo can clean well, without leaving me with that itchy sensation that I sometimes felt with the damage care line shampoo. Besides from making a good cleansing, it leaves the hair soft and quite manageable.
The conditioner is very dense and that helped me precisely to not overspend so much product to achieve a soft, untangled and no frizz or static hair when styling. In fact, we (as family) already spent the entire bottle of shampoo, but conditioner is about half. It made it easier for me to comb my youngest daughter hair (long, straight hair) and to comb my own hair when I had it too long (I cut it a month ago). And I didn't need to use any hair serum (Innisfree) during this time. The conditioner leaves the hair well protected and prepared in just that step.
Detail apart, both the shampoo and the conditioner come in 1 lt. bottles, so it can perfectly be for family use, or it can last a lot if is only yours. This size could play against you when buying it directly to Korea, because the price for weight is much more than what we pay here for the product.
So, in conclusion, we have here a couple of products that really make what they promise: bright and manageable hair, with a healthy aspect; and at a very affordable price, also considering the amount of product.
