Este protector solar en formato cushion lo recibí en noviembre gracias a Arumi, y lo he estado testeando en diferentes climas, estados de mi piel y temporadas...veamos ahora que tal me ha ido con él, y quienes le podrían sacar bastante provecho.

Con un 0% de agua purificada y extracto de hoja de aloe vera como base, tiene efectos calmantes, por lo que es seguro para usar en pieles sensibles.
Formulada con 5 tipos de vitaminas, la base amarilla que se asemeja al sol ayuda a recuperar la vitalidad de la piel dañada por la luz solar del verano y la base blanca compuesta de 6 tipos de extractos de té tiene efectos refrescantes y calmantes, lo que la convierte en un protector solar en formato cushion que puede ser utilizado sin problemas para obtener un acabado suave.

La caja donde viene tiene tonos blanco, negro y amarillo (es el mismo motivo de la carcasa) y en sus costados tiene el nombre de la creadora de la marca Elroel, Yoo Yang Hee, artista de maquillaje con amplia trayectoria en Corea.
No hay mucha información disponible en inglés, mas allá de la que podamos hallar en páginas asociadas, pero al menos en el empaque podemos contar con fechas de expiración y símbolo de expiración tras la apertura.
El cushion en si es gigante, le rinde honor al nombre porque su diferencia de tamaño con un cushion normal, se nota. Además de ser de gran tamaño, su espejo también lo es y eso nos facilita bastante el mirarnos bien cuando necesitamos hacer la aplicación del producto.
Su esponja también es muy grande, si para usar un puff regular me basta poner tres dedos, con este puff debo usar 4 y afirmarlo bien para que no se suelte.
y...¿podemos hablar de la belleza de sol que vemos al abrir el cushion? Si bien lamentablemente con el uso se va perdiendo ese vivo tono amarillo, al principio da una impresión agradable.
La carcasa es plástica, bastante firme y fácil de abrir. La tapa donde está el espejo tiende a estar un poquito suelta asi que ten cuidado para que no te pegues en los dedos por si se cierra de improviso.

The box where it comes has white, black and yellow tones (it's the same motif of the cushion case) and on its sides it has the name of the creator of the Elroel brand, Yoo Yang Hee, makeup artist with extensive experience in Korea.
There's not much information available in english language, beyond what we can find in associated pages, but at least in the package we can count on expiration dates and expiration symbol after opening (PAO symbol).
The cushion itself is huge, it pays homage to the name because its difference in size with a normal cushion, it truly can be quite noticeable. In addition to being large, their mirror is also large and that makes it easier for us to look at ourselves when we need to make the application of the product.
The sponge is also very large, when I use a regular puff I just need to put three fingers inside, with this puff I should use 4 fingers and hold it well to avoid the puff fall or be loose.
The case is plastic, quite firm and easy to open. The lid where the mirror is tends to be a little loose so be careful not to hit your fingers in case it closes suddenly.
Cuando terminé de fotografiarlo y pude probarlo fue amor al primer uso: el aroma una vez lo abres es muy suave y te da esa sensación de perfume fresco, y una vez aplicado en el rostro lo sientes húmedo, pero el acabado es natural a seco, como si hubieras aplicado polvos. Es una sensación rara, pero que no da muchos problemas.
El perfume se va desvaneciendo lentamente, así que si no tienes una nariz muy sensible no debería ser un problema.
Este Sun cushion, o protector solar en formato cushion, tiene protección UVB de 50+ y protección UVA +++. Sus filtros son de tipo mixto (mayoría orgánicos y sólo 1 de tipo inorgánico), siendo los principales el Ethylhexyl methoxicinnamate y el Óxido de zinc. En su formulación también lleva Niacinamida, extracto de Aloe vera, siliconas y bastantes ingredientes emolientes y humectantes. Lleva silica, que es lo que le da ese acabado tipo "polvos". Lleva antioxidantes en su formulación: vitamina C (Sodium ascorbyl phosphate), Vitamina E.
Es por lo anteriormente nombrado, que este protector tiende a dejar una ligera capa blanca que podemos utilizar para obtener un efecto "Tone up" suave, mientras que las siliconas ayudan a que también de un efecto de prebase. Este efecto tone up va desapareciendo poco a poco tras haber sido aplicado, es un hecho normal pues el pigmento en bloqueadores con filtros inorgánicos tiende a dispersarse y por ello se hace necesaria una reaplicación del producto más tarde.
En mi piel ha ido bien, pero en algunos momentos con baja humedad ambiental tiende a resecarme un poco la piel pese a todo su contenido hidratante. No es algo que me guste, de hecho, detesto sentir la piel seca y por eso tengo mucho cuidado en mi rutina cuando voy a usar este protector. Como su acabado es un tanto mate, hidrato y humecto muy bien mi piel para que no me quite el brillo que obtengo con mi rutina de cuidado.
Es un buen producto si lo que buscas es un protector que mejore ligeramente tu tono de piel y corrija algunos cambios de tono, o si buscas un producto para fácil reaplicación, ya que su gran esponja ayuda a que en pocos pasos puedas cubrir bien tu rostro y cuello de protección solar, aunque estés fuera de casa.
Si no te maquillas y quieres una apariencia más iluminada, también podría ser lo que buscas. Si tu piel tiende a crear mucho brillo/sebo, también es un producto que podrías usar para controlar ese problema de modo rápido.
Por esta particularidad de su acabado, es que creo que este cushion va mejor en piel mixta que no tenga zonas secas, o en piel grasa que busque un acabado mate y de toque seco.
No podría recomendarlo ciegamente para piel seca porque a pesar de ser bastante hidratante, este acabado quizás no les agrade tanto, más aún si pertenecen al #TeamPapaFrita🍟 y van a necesitar estar ayudando a su piel frecuentemente a hidratarse, por este efecto "quita brillo" y polvoriento que suele tener la silica.
Algo en lo que debo hacer hincapié, es que utilicen este formato, así como polvos o brumas, sólo para reaplicar. Si bien son formatos muy cómodos, para obtener una protección como la que nos daría un formato tradicional, ya sea crema, gel, tendríamos que aplicar muchísimo producto y de forma pareja para cubrir bien la piel.
Edito: hay algo que se me olvidó contar y que gracias a Raquel, les pondré acá. No he visto ni en Stylekorean ni en ebay la venta de los refills de este cushion, pero si existen y si los buscan, acá les dejo el enlace directo para que los puedan conseguir a través de un shopping service. When I finished photographing it and I could try it, it was love at the first use: once opened its scent very refreshing like a perfume gives a good vibe. Also, once applied to the face you feel it moist, but the finish is natural to dry, as if you had applied powders. It's a strange feeling, but it doesn't give many problems.
The perfume is slowly fading, so if you don't have a very sensitive nose it shouldn't be a problem.
This Sun cushion, or sunscreen in cushion format, has 50+ UVB protection and UVA +++ protection. Its filters are a blend type (mostly organic and only 1 inorganic filter), the main ones being Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and zinc oxide. In its formulation, it also contains Niacinamide, Aloe vera extract, silicones and many emollient and humectant ingredients. It also has silica, which is what gives it that "powder" type finish. It carries antioxidants in its formulation: vitamin C (Sodium ascorbyl phosphate), Vitamin E.
It's for the above mentioned, that this protector tends to leave a light white cast that we can use to obtain a soft "Tone up" effect, while the silicones help that also of a pre-base or primer effect. This tone-up effect disappears after being applied, it's a normal thing on inorganic sunscreens as the pigment in sunblocks with inorganic filters tends to disperse and therefore a reapplication of the product is necessary.
In my skin it has gone well, but in some moments with low humidity it tends to dry my skin a little. It's not something that I like, in fact, I hate to feel my skin dry, and that's why I'm very careful in my routine when I'm going to use this protector. As its finish is matte/powder, I moisturize my skin very well so that way this product can't take away the glow I get with my skincare routine.
It's a good product if you are looking for a sunscreen that slightly improves your skin tone and corrects some changes in brightness, or if you are looking for a product for easy reapplication, since its large puff helps to cover your face and neck in a few steps, even if you're away from home.
If you don't put on makeup and want a more brightened appearance, it could also be what you are looking for. If your skin tends to create a lot of oil / sebum, it's also a product that you could use to control that problem quickly.
For this particularity of its finish, is that I think this cushion is more suitable for combination skin that doesn't have dry areas, or in oily skin that look for a matte finish and dry touch.
I couldn't recommend it blindly for dry skin because despite being quite moisturizing, you may not like this finish, especially if you belong to #GlowlikeOilInFriesTeam🍟 and you'll need to be helping your skin to moisturize frequently, because at least on me, this finish tend to dry all the glow. It's like a dementor to my glowy skin T_T.
Something I must emphasize, is that you use this format (as well as powders or mist) only to reapply. While they are very comfortable formats, to get a protection like the one that would give us a traditional format, whether cream, gel, we would have to apply a lot of product and evenly to cover our skin well.

Tienen algún formato favorito a la hora de aplicar o reaplicar su protector solar?
En mi caso, si bien uso sin problema los formatos tradicionales, para reaplicar sin duda me encanta el formato en barra, creo que es muy cómodo, además de que al pasar la barra te aseguras de que todo el sector quede bien cubierto.
Les leo! y atentos, porque ya pronto voy a lanzar el sorteo de aniversario, ya que este Blogcito cumplió 5 años de funcionamiento (inició en marzo de 2014).
