[Aritaum] Ppooyan Miso Cleansing Oil

 

Hoy les traigo una reseña del que fue mi limpiador de aceite desde fines de Septiembre del año pasado, hasta hace unos meses atrás. Pese a que había probado años atrás el desmaquillante de la misma línea (el cual es excelente, y muy recomendado), nunca había comprado este limpiador oleoso. Me bastó una caminata por Namdaemun y entrar a un Aritaum, para comprarlo al fin y amarlo.

Y ojo! Que la Youtuber Director Pi, lo menciona como Dupe del carísimo limpiador en aceite de Sulwhasoo.

Hello everyone! new review in here!. It's not about a new product because this one it's already a classic regarding oil cleansers, but it's new for me because I only managed to try it just during september last year, during my SK trip.

How to use

With 2 pumps of product, apply over dry face. Massage, then emulsify the oil with a little water. Once the oil is blended with water, rinse well with damp water. Dry with towel and continue your second step of cleansing.

Lamentablemente por temas de apuro y cansancio jeje, se me fué fotografiar el producto antes de abrirlo...y sólo tengo una captura de pantalla. Lo que les puedo contar es que esta botella de aceite viene en una botella conteniendo 150 ml de producto y que viene sellada completamente en plástico duro.

En la botella no viene nada de información en inglés, está todo en hangul. Pero si tenemos al menos fecha de vencimiento en la base de la botella, y un símbolo de expiración tras la apertura, que en el caso de este producto es de 12 meses. 

El dispensador es bastante seguro, no se suelta como en otros casos ni deja escapar aceite, y viene con un pequeño tope que ayuda a evitar fugas indeseadas en caso de viaje.

Cuando me lo traje de Corea (si, viajó de vuelta este pequeño) le puse la válvula y no hubo fugas ni ensució nada.

Unfortunately due to being in a hurry (and very tired) forgot to take a photograph of the product before opening it... and I only have a screenshot when I did an Instagram Unboxing hehe. What I can tell you is that this package comes in a bottle containing 150 ml of product and that it is completely sealed in hard plastic.

There is no information in english language in the bottle, it is all in Hangul. But we do have at least an expiration date on the bottom of the bottle, and an expiration symbol after opening on the side of the bottle, which in the case of this product is 12 months.

The dispenser is quite safe, it doesn't loose or leak oil as in other bottles I've seen, and it comes with a small piece that helps prevent unwanted leaks in case of travel.

When I brought it from Korea (yes, this little guy traveled back with me) I put the little valve on it and there were no leaks or anything dirty on my suitcase.

Proceso de limpieza: 
Aplicar el aceite, masajear y frotar bien, emulsificar y enjuagar.

Cleansing process:
Apply oil, massage and rub firmly, emulsify and rinse.

    Este limpiador no es para nada nuevo, de hecho, es uno de los más antiguos que existe en Aritaum (la línea Ppoyan es clásica a estas alturas y consta de toallas desmaquillantes, aceite de limpieza, desmaquillante - que les reseñé acá- y un limpiador de espuma). Pero aún así, no había probado su limpiador en aceite a pesar de tener tantas buenas reseñas y una reputación confiable y de buen precio, por priorizar nuevos productos. 

    Entonces, cuando llegué a Corea, al día siguiente me levanté temprano para recorrer, cambiar dinero y demás cosas...y si bien mi intención era pasar caminando simplemente por el mercado namdaemun, un Aritaum ahí me tentó y entré. Un buen rato después salí con limpiador de aceite, protector solar, kit de crema, labial y bálsamo labial. Ups.

    La cosa es que esa misma noche comencé a usar el aceite. Allá en Corea me maquillé cada bendito día, porque todos los días salía a distintos sitios y quería verme preciosa y brillante, y mi maquillaje es waterproof y ni aún en ese clima adverso (me tocó un otoño muy caluroso y húmedo) se salía o se corría. Así que cada noche, la doble limpieza era sagrada, en la misma ducha. El aceite saca todo el maquillaje.

Presentación: Botella conteniendo 150 ml de producto. De aspecto transparente, tiene dispensador y pieza protectora. 

Promesas: remover el maquillaje dejando la piel humectada.

Modo de uso: En la rutina de noche, dispensar dos dosis de producto en manos limpias y secas. Frotar las manos y traspasar producto al rostro, donde masajeas por un rato para remover el maquillaje e impurezas. Agrega un poco de agua a tus manos y emulsiona el aceite (textura lechosa), sigue con ese proceso en el rostro y cuello y cuando hayas emulsionado, puedes enjuagar bien. Emulsionar es clave para remover bien el aceite.

Aroma, textura y color: el aroma del aceite es muy suave, se siente un perfume pero no podría describirlo bien. No es a semillas o a flores en específico. La textura es bastante líquida y se desliza bien por la piel, pero no llega a ser acuosa, y el color es transparente.

Ingredientes: Los primeros ingredientes son todos emolientes y algunos surfactantes que ayudan a limpiar y algunos reguladores de viscosidad, ingredientes que harán "la magia" de retirar bien el maquillaje. Recién ya a la mitad de la fórmula se halla el extracto de arroz fermentado, la manteca de karité y algodón, los lactobacilos y otros fermentos derivados del arroz, la soja y la cebada. Tras eso está el agua y algunas fragancias.

Acabado: humectante. Tras enjuagar bien, la piel se nota humectada y con ligeras gotitas de agua que permanecen en la piel. No se siente pesado ni reseco.

Experiencia: He estado tratando de recordar cuánto tiempo me llevó terminarlo (dejé un restito sólo para terminar de escribir la reseña) y creo que fueron como 4 meses máximo. Lo comencé a usar a fines de septiembre y cuando volví a fines de Octubre, llevaba usada poco más de la mitad de la botella. Siempre he utilizado dos dosis de producto, aún cuando llevo mucho maquillaje (en realidad no uso demasiado, sino lo básico, y no me cuesta nada retirarlo).

    Dado que uso delineador y mascara de pestañas con duración alta y propiedad a prueba de agua, duran mucho, entonces siempre debo usar aceite para limpiar todo. El aceite siempre cumplió con su labor: remueve bien el maquillaje y los residuos en el rostro, pero además también se emulsiona bien, y se enjuaga bien, cosa que considero es muy importante en un aceite de limpieza, pues así te acostumbras más fácilmente a utilizarlo a diario. Si tu piel es seca, es más importante aún pues un buen aceite de limpieza no debería dejar la piel grasa, sino que cómoda y con sensación de humectación.

    A veces, cuando mi piel se sentía muy seca (cosa que me pasó los primeros días en Corea tras el vuelo, y cuando llegué acá, por el vuelo tb) me bastaba usar solamente el aceite para realizar mi limpieza de la noche. Siempre ajusta tu rutina a lo que tu piel necesita en ese momento. No necesitas ser rígida/o, sino saber identificar lo que tu piel quiere.

    En las fotografías anteriores les dejé una prueba de remoción de maquillaje, pueden ver que el aceite puede quitar base, sombras y labiales al instante, y sólo la máscara de pestañas es lo que le da un poco más de trabajo, aunque luego la quita igual.

    Otro punto importante para mí, es el precio. Este producto es bastante barato, allá en Corea me costó 13 mil won y es en tiendas online está más barato (ya que las tiendas online trabajan con descuento de clientes vip o mayoristas). 

    Algo que descubrí viendo el canal de Director Pi en Youtube (se las recomiendo mucho, ella está constantemente haciendo revisiones masivas por tipo de producto de una manera analítica), es que este aceite limpiador es considerado el Dupe del Cleansing Oil de Sulwhasoo (ingredientes similares y funcionamiento), a una fracción del precio (el de Sulwhasoo cuesta entre 30-40 dólares). Recuerden que Sulwhasoo y Aritaum son parte de una misma empresa madre, que es AMORE (Amorepacific), siendo Sulwhasoo la marca de lujo y Aritaum, la marca más barata junto a Etude House.

    En conclusión: es un aceite de limpieza de precio económico, de ingredientes no problemáticos, que cumple su función de desmaquillar y que además deja la piel limpia y cómoda, humectada. Tiene buen aroma, su dispensador no presenta fugas y ya es un clásico entre los limpiadores en aceite coreanos.

This cleanser is not new at all, in fact, it is one of the oldest that exists in Aritaum (the Ppoyan line is classic at this point and consists of makeup remover towels, cleansing oil, makeup remover - which I reviewed here - and a cleansing foam). But still, hadn't tried his oil-based cleanser despite having so many good reviews and a reliable, well-priced reputation, for prioritizing new products.

    So, when I arrived to Korea, the next day I got up early to go around, exchange money and other things... and although my intention was to walk simply through the Namdaemun market, an Aritaum there tempted me and I entered. Minutes later I came out with a bag with oil cleanser, sunscreen, kit of cream, liptint and lip balm. Ooops.

    The thing is, that same night I started using the oil. While in Korea I applied makeup every blessed day, because every day I went out to different places and wanted to look pretty and radiant, and my makeup is waterproof and not even in that adverse weather (it was a very hot and humid autumn) did it come off or run. So every night, double cleansing was sacred, in the same shower. The oil removes all makeup.

Presentation: Bottle containing 150 ml of product. Transparent in appearance, it has a dispenser and a protective piece.

Promises: remove makeup, leaving skin moisturized.

How to use: In the night routine, dispense two doses of product on clean and dry hands. Rub your hands and transfer the product to your face, where you massage for a while to remove makeup and impurities. Add a little water to your hands and emulsify the oil (you'll get a milky texture), continue with this process on the face and neck and when you have emulsified, you can rinse well. Emulsifying is key to removing the oil well.

Aroma, texture and color: the aroma of the oil is very soft, it feels like a perfume but I could not describe it well. It is not specific to seeds or flowers. The texture is quite liquid and it glides well on the skin, but it doesn't become watery, and the color is transparent.

Ingredients: The first ingredients are all emollients and some surfactants that help to clean and some viscosity regulators, ingredients that will do "the magic" of removing makeup well. Only halfway through the formula is fermented rice extract, shea and cotton butter, lactobacilli and other ferments derived from rice, soybeans and barley. After that is the water and some fragrances.

Finish: moisturized. After rinsing well, the skin feels moisturized and with light droplets of water that remain on the skin. It doesn't feel heavy or dry.

Experience: I've been trying to remember how long it took me to finish it (I left a little rest just to finish writing the review) and I think it was like 4 months maximum. I started using it in late September and when I returned in late October, I had just over half the bottle used. I have always used two doses of the product, even when I wear a lot of makeup (I don't really use too much, but the basics, and it is easy to remove it).

    Since I use eyeliner and mascara with high duration and waterproof property, they last a long time, so I should always use oil to clean everything. The oil always did its job: it removes makeup and residues on the face well, but it also emulsifies well, and rinses well, which I consider is very important in a cleansing oil, because that way you get used to it more easily is to use it daily. If your skin is dry, it is even more important because a good cleansing oil should not leave the skin oily, but rather comfortable and with a feeling of moisture.

    Sometimes, when my skin felt very dry (which happened to me in the first days in Korea after the flight, and when I got here, because of the flight, too) it was enough for me to use only the oil to perform my night cleansing. Always adjust your routine to what your skin needs at that time. You don't need to be rigid, but rather know how to identify what your skin wants.

    In the previous photographs I left you a makeup removal test, you can see that the oil can remove foundation, shadows and lipsticks instantly, and only the mascara is what gives it a little more work, although then it removes it anyway .

    Another important point for me is the price. This product is quite cheap, there in Korea it cost me 13.000won and it is cheaper in online stores (since online stores work with discounts from vip or wholesale customers).

    Something that I discovered by watching the Director Pi channel on Youtube (I highly recommend it, she is constantly doing massive reviews by product type in an analytical way), is that this cleansing oil is considered the Dupe of Sulwhasoo Cleansing Oil (similar ingredients and performance), at a fraction of the price (Sulwhasoo costs between $ 30-40). Remember that Sulwhasoo and Aritaum are part of the same mother company, which is AMORE (Amorepacific), Sulwhasoo being the luxury brand and Aritaum, the cheapest brand together with Etude House.

     In conclusion: it is an inexpensive cleansing oil, with non-problematic ingredients, that fulfills its function of removing make-up and also leaves the skin clean and comfortable, moisturized. It smells good, its dispenser doesn't leak, and it's already a classic among Korean oil cleansers.

Espero les haya servido esta reseña, porque recuerden que de a poco los envíos han comenzado a restablecerse y si bien por ahora está sólo disponible el envío de tipo EMS hacia Chile, es una opción mucho mejor a lo que es DHL, ya que al ser EMS un tipo de envío dependiente de Korea Post, nos evitamos el cobro extra de una empresa privada, además del riesgo de aduanazos.

Ya vieron el video de Director Pi? De ahí tengo varios aceites que quiero probar, pero por ahora tengo que pensar en siquiera poder terminar el botellón de 420 ml que compré de Shingmulnara XD
