The pack I bought is a special package that includes 2  shampoo bottles and 1 conditioner bottle. All bottles contain 600 ml of product.

The plastic box doesn't really have information that could be useful for us -non korean speakers- , just mention the origin and some of the varieties of Kerasys products. The same goes for each of the bottles, both shampoo and conditioner, only include their name and description in English and the rest is all in Korean. At the base of each bottle, the expiration date of each product is printed.

Todas pertenecen a Aekyung.

Every time I talked about Korean shampoos, someone told me about how good the Kerasys brand was (it sounded a lot like Kerastase to me 😅), but unfortunately, as isn't a so well known brand globally, it was difficult to find it online, or look for good options. Prices especially, because unfortunately for us in Chile, the products we buy always come with an extra cost for the shipping charge.

That's why when I saw that in a local store they had a couple of products of this brand on sale, I told my country people immediately. It wasn't until a few months ago that I decided at the end and bought the pack containing shampoo (2 units) and 1 conditioner.

My Secret key Mu coating shampoo was running out at that time, so it came in super good time, but don't get confused: they aren't similar, and I'll tell you why.

This Shampoo although it has pH5-6, which makes it perfect for our scalp and for the hair fiber for sebum balance/hydration reasons, and later smoothness because it's not aggressive to the cuticles, feels different from the Mu coating shampoo.

I don't know if it's me -maybe, who knows- but every time I use this shampoo, I feel that my fingertips are very dry, almost squeaky clean, that same feeling of when you have been for too long under the shower with hot water. This doesn't happen with other cleansers, nor does this happen to me with other shampoos that I use (Secret Key - Apicola del alba), so it's something curious that I think should definitely share.

I don't feel either that it is a particularly moisturizing shampoo, in fact, I almost feel like those deep cleansing shampoos -without the dryness or brittle hair, I must say-, since it's able to completely clean the scalp and oily hair. In fact, my daughter uses it from time to time on those occasions when her hair is very greasy, and the cleansing ability is no joke.

But that same "pro" may play against sensitive scalps or those who don't have much need for cleansing: it could dry out and maybe even cause itching. It happened to me, so I intercalate both shampoos and only use Kerastase once a week.

I don't lose the shine of my hair,  and it didn't dried my hair or my scalp either.

The aroma is great, it is very penetrating and pleasant. It is durable.

I'm not sure about making an independent review of the conditioner... not so much because of laziness 😆 but because I don't see potential or feel that this deserve that opportunity... so I only tell you that it complements the effect of the shampoo quite well, it has ph 6-7 and It helps to untangle hair super well.

For what it cost me, I think it's super cheap, it does the cleansing job well, and it brings a lot of product. So if you don't have problems with your scalp (dryness or dandruff) is a good alternative to get out of the monotony and feel a bit like the female lead of a Korean drama 😁.

Just in case if you didn't knew, Kerasys is a sister brand with Age 20's and LUNA. All belong to Aekyung.

↑ pH 5-6
↑ Limpia bien el cuero cabelludo / Cleanse scalp properly
↑ Aroma duradero / lasting scent
↑ Tamaño grande / Big Size
↑ Buen precio / Good price
↑ No reseca el cabello / Doesn't dry hair

↓ Difícil de hallar online / Hard to find it online
↓ Siento que reseca un poco mis dedos / I feel this dries a little my fingers.
