Hallar un buen limpiador no debería ser complicado, menos aún en este año, que ya la mayoría de las marcas han comprendido al fin la importancia de un buen pH en los limpiadores acuosos para la salud de nuestra piel. Pero comenzamos a ver formatos y es abrumador: que gel, polvo, espuma, cremoso, leches, aceite a espuma...y a eso le agregamos que a veces nuestra piel es sensible, o por cuestiones de ambiente o enfermedades se sensibiliza, entonces no podemos usar cualquier surfactante y tenemos que elegir aquellos más suaves.
Si no es eso, nuestra experiencia sensorial nos echa para atrás con aromas desagradables (aceite de árbol de té, extractos de mentol y aceites esenciales cítricos, a ustedes les miro) o también puede que la pereza o el cansancio del día nos haga preferir formatos más instantáneos donde no tengamos que estar batallando para hacer espuma o frotando mucho la piel.
He probado algunos limpiadores que generan espuma automáticamente y mi mayor queja era: ¡¿Por qué se gastan tan rápido?!, y es que en este formato, muy tentador para perezosos, todos en la familia quieren usarlo y no alcanzas a tenerlo por más de 2-3 meses, que se acaba. Por eso, es que este limpiador vino a solucionar mi queja, y también vino a ayudar a la pereza de mi gente, no muy amiga de limpiadores en otros formatos.
El limpiador de espuma de Isntree tiene un pH perfecto (5-6, testeado con mis tiras de pH), no tiene aroma notorio, la espuma es abundante y se siente muy suave en la piel. Su gran tamaño hace que sea útil para la limpieza de toda la familia, y lo he podido comprobar especialmente con mi hija menor (7 años, dermatitis atópica) que hizo ya de la limpieza de su piel, un hábito fácil de adoptar.
Esta nueva botella que tengo llegó en febrero, y ya va a la mitad, así que les digo, es posible gastarla en el tiempo indicado (porque no la he usado siempre, estuve usando por un mes el limpiador de Troiareuke y también gastando el de Petitfee y el de Nakeup Face).
Si bien la marca indica que con este limpiador es posible quitar maquillaje, yo creo que es mejor dejarlo para la limpieza de las mañanas, y como segundo paso en la doble o triple limpieza de noche. A veces querer abarcar mucho hace que realmente no logres lo que quieres con la misma calidad y eficacia, y en el caso de limpiadores, aún con excepciones muy honrosas, creo que cuando un limpiador acuoso te promete quitar maquillaje, suele ser muy agresivo para la piel, tanto en sus componentes como en todo el tiempo que tienes que estar frota y frota. Por eso mejor pastelero a tus pasteles, y tenemos un segundo limpiador buenísimo y suave.
¿Es capaz de quitar restos de protector solar? Como aprendimos de Michelle en su artículo, si tiene surfactantes, es apto. Y éste limpiador tiene dos surfactantes en su composición, que son Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate y Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, ambos muy suaves y no resecantes.
Como les he dicho en otras reseñas anteriores de limpiadores, cuando busquemos uno, veamos la lista de ingredientes para saber si los toleraremos bien dependiendo de la particularidad de nuestra piel. Usualmente hay mucho relleno en limpiadores (que antioxidantes, que ácidos, que hidratantes) y estas son cosas que suelen irse con el mismo enjuague del limpiador. En el caso de esta espuma, está la proteina de la leche, extracto de leche de cabra, glicerina, trehalosa y otros ingredientes que ayudan a hidratar/humectar la piel, pero recuerden que todo esto se va con el enjuague, asi que no es algo muy relevante en si a mi parecer.
Sin embargo, algo que me parece notorio de mencionar es la presencia de ciertos extractos, que mirados rápidamente los veríamos como simples extractos herbales, pero que gracias al apoyo de Incidecoder, vemos que cumplen una función muy importante en este limpiador: preservantes.
Tanto Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract como Usnea Barbata Extract forman parte de un compuesto llamado EURO NA-pre, un preservante "natural" con certificación Ecocert, que supuestamente es menos irritante que los preservantes tradicionales y es usado mayormente en cosmética coreana por Benton, y que también es el sistema de preservantes que usa IsNtree en sus demás productos, y que por ello la duración (tanto del producto cerrado, como ya una vez abierto) es corta frente a otros productos en el mercado.
Sobre mi experiencia, ha sido totalmente positiva, usándolo como lo que es, un limpiador de segundo paso. Si bien es capaz de remover base de maquillaje y sombras, no puede contra delineadores, labiales o máscaras waterproof.
Es fácil de usar, muy suave con la piel, deja la piel limpia y no tirante o reseca. Es muy fácil de enjuagar y no me ha provocado problemas en la piel, ni tampoco a mi familia.
Asi que por todas las razones antes mencionadas, considero que es el mejor limpiador de segundo paso que he probado, apto incluso para pieles más sensibles. Si bien no es el más económico ni el mejor para llevar a viajes, creo que su tamaño y precio son acordes a la calidad que entrega.

Both Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract and Usnea Barbata Extract are part of a compound called EURO NA-pre, a "natural" Ecocert certified preservative, which is supposedly less irritating than traditional preservatives and is mostly used in Korean cosmetics by Benton, and that is also the preservatives that IsNtree uses in its other products, and that therefore the duration (once opened) is short compared to other products in the market.
About my experience, it has been totally positive, using it for what it is, a second step cleanser. While it's able to remove base makeup and eye shadows, it can't make it against eyeliners, lipsticks or waterproof mascara.
It's easy to use, very gentle on the skin, leaving the skin clean and non-tight or dry. It's very easy to rinse and hasn't caused skin problems, nor to my family.
So for all the reasons mentioned above, I consider it to be the best second step cleanser I have ever tried for the last year, suitable even for the most sensitive skin. Although it's not the cheapest or the best to take into travels, I believe that its size and price are consistent with the quality it delivers.

Este es uno de los limpiadores que se está haciendo famoso por su suavidad y por su gran tamaño, a mí me encanta que sea tan fácil usarlo y que sea tan suave con la piel. Sólo le veo cosas positivas aunque dure tan poco (duración en meses por sus preservantes). Al menos acá ya somos de su team.
