[eSpoir] Lipstick No wear Lip topper satin #1996 Red #All that Red

Hoy, tras otro poco más de inactividad -o mejor dicho, falta de tiempo para poder escribirles- les traigo una nueva reseña, esta vez de unos labiales que me conquistaron primero por empaque y luego por experiencia, se trata de los no wear lip topper de espoir, labiales que puedes usar solos o como complemento a otro labial, entregándole un acabado metalizado.

Veamos que tal se han comportado, y qué es lo que pueden y no esperar de ellos.

Today, after another little more inactivity -or rather, lack of time to write in here- I bring a new review, this time it's about a lipstick that won me first by packaging and then by experience, it's the no wear lip topper from espoir brand, lipsticks that you can use alone or as a complement to another lipstick, giving it a metallic finish.

Let's see how they have performed, and what you can and can't expect from them.

Lamentablemente para esto no existe información sobre los ingredientes completos para cada color. En la web de espoir están solamente los que corresponden al tono the show.

Cada labial viene en las típicas cajas negras en que suele empacar espoir (cajas negras con las rúbricas de la marca en tono gris). Cada caja incluye información básica en inglés ( descripción, nombre del color, sello de expiración tras la apertura). A un costado de cada caja viene impresa la fecha de expiración del producto en caso de no ser abierto.

Los empaques individuales son bellos y minimalistas. Hechos de plástico duro y transparente, permiten ver el color original del labial. La tapa es de color negro y tiene grabada el nombre de la marca. En la base hay un sticker donde está el nombre del color y su período de duración una vez abierto.

Cada tapa sostiene el aplicador, de forma de corazón, que ayuda a poder aplicar bastante cantidad de producto, manteniendo la limpieza y creación de líneas definidas.

Each lipstick comes in the typical black boxes that usually pack espoir (black boxes with the rubrics of the brand in gray color). Each box includes basic information in english (description, color name, expiration after opening symbol). On one side of each box is printed the expiration date of the product if it's not opened.

The individual packages are beautiful and minimalist. Made of hard and transparent plastic, they allow to see the original color of the lipstick. The lid is black and has the name of the brand engraved. At the base there is a sticker where the name of the color and its period of duration once opened.

Each cover holds the applicator, heart-shaped, which helps to be able to apply enough quantity of product, maintaining the cleanness and ability to make defined lines.

Cuando vi los labiales en el catálogo de Jolse y luego revisé las redes sociales de espoir, vi con sorpresa que los tonos eran bastante metalizados, algo que comúnmente no suelo usar. También me quedó la duda de si eran labiales comunes o sólo servirían como toppers (para poner sobre el labial regular para dar un efecto x) y realmente su pigmentación nos muestra que pueden ser usados como labiales en si.


Empaque: cada uno de estos labiales viene en un empaque de formas rectas, con un tubo transparente para que puedas ver el color real, y con un aplicador que es muy útil para lograr un maquillaje dedicado y pulcro.

Aroma y textura: al abrirlos se nota de inmediato un perfume, fragancia agradable, pero fuerte para olfatos sensibles y que perdura por un buen rato una vez aplicado. Algo que me llama la atención también es el aspecto algo ceroso, oleoso de la fórmula del labial, que lo notarán una vez aplicado y cada vez que beban agua o pasen su lengua por los labios: repele un poco el agua y pequeñas gotitas se ven por su superficie.

Colores: sobre los tonos que elegí, ambos son rojos pero en distintas tonalidades, tanto para quienes tengan subtono de piel cálido y frío. El tono "All that red" es un rojo clásico con subtono cálido,algo rojo anaranjado y con muchos destellos tipo shimmer, mientras el tono "1996 red" es un rojo que tira a rosa oscuro, con subtono frío y shimmer que aprecio algo violeta.

Experiencia: la comodidad en la aplicación es bastante, más si tienes el problema común de que tus labios se resequen. Su fórmula cubre imperfecciones y las disimula un poco, además de ayudar a hidratar los labios. Como la textura es algo oleosa, al repeler el agua, ayuda a que dure más tiempo puesto en los labios (y lo pude comprobar en los talleres que K-beauty que imparto, donde 3-4 horas de hablar y beber agua, aún se mantenía en su lugar). Pese a eso, el labial transfiere bastante más aún cuando está recién aplicado, asi que hay que cuidar de no manchar mucho las superficies cuando esté ya seco y asentado.

Su "muerte" es muy similar a otros labiales, se comienza a salir de la parte interna-media de los labios, pero por las primeras horas o tras comer es mínima. No te va a durar de la mañana hasta la noche, si lo estás pensando. Vas a necesitar retocar un poco tras almorzar.

Ambos colores son hermosos, pero me gusta más 1996 red, por su subtono. Es un tema de elección personal. En la web de Jolse pueden ver tanto estos topper como los labiales en acabado normal, hay bastante variedad de tonos y pueden hallar alguno que les acomode. Para mí, estos labiales han sido un imperdible durante este año y me alegro mucho de haber podido probarlos. Es una promesa que cuando esté en Corea iré a probar para ustedes los demás colores de estos topper y de los labiales regulares 😊.

When I saw the lipsticks in the Jolse catalog and then I checked the Espoir sns, I saw with surprise that the tones were quite metallic, something that I don't usually wear. I also had the doubt of whether they were common lipsticks or maybe would only serve as toppers (to put on the regular lipstick to give an x effect) and really their pigmentation shows us that they can be used as lipsticks by itself.

Packaging: each of these lipsticks comes in a pack of straight shapes, with a transparent tube so you can see the real color, and with an applicator tip that is very useful to achieve a dedicated and neat makeup.

Aroma and texture: when you open it you'll immediately notice a fragrance, it's a pleasant scent, but strong for sensitive noses and that lasts for a long time once applied. Something that catches my attention is also the somewhat waxy, oily aspect of the lipstick formulation, which you will notice once applied and each time you drink water or run your tongue through your lips: it repels a little water and small droplets look for its surface.

Colors: on the tones I chose, both are red but in different "tones", for those with warm or cold skin undertone. The tone "All that red" is a classic red with warm undertone, something red-orange and with many shimmer-like sparkles, while the tone "1996 red" is a dark red -a little bit like a dark pink-, with cold undertone and violet colored shimmer .

Experience: the comfort in the application is enough, more if you have the common problem that your lips dry up. Its formula covers imperfections and conceals it a bit, besides helping to hydrate the lips. As the texture is somewhat oily, by repelling water, it helps to last longer on the lips (and I could check it in the K-beauty workshops that I impart, where after 3-4 hours of talking and drinking water, still kept in place). Despite this, the lipstick transfers much more when it is newly applied, so you need to care to avoid stain the surfaces, not so much when it is already dry and settled.


Their"death" is very similar to other lipsticks, it starts to leave the inner-middle part of the lips, but for the first hours or after eating is minimal. It won't last from morning to night, if you're thinking about it. You'll need to touch up a little after lunch.

Both colors are beautiful, but I like 1996 red the most, because of its subtone. It is a matter of personal choice. In the Jolse website you can see both toppers and the lipsticks in normal finish, there is quite a variety of colors and you can find one that suits you. For me, these lipsticks have been a must during this year and I am very happy to have been able to try them. Once I'll arrive to Korea I'll go and try for you the other colors of these toppers and regular lipsticks, promise 😊.

¿Les llamó la atención? Al menos yo me siento muy satisfecha con ellos, tanto por color como por duración. Siempre me pasa en los talleres, que si bien me maquillo y uso algún labial hermoso, por tantas horas de hablar y beber agua, se terminan gastando y saliendo, por ende quedo con labios pálidos y sin rastro de labial. Con éstos al menos pude quedar con rastros de labial tras tantas horas 🤣. Si bien es un poco más caro comparado a otros labiales, la sensación de comodidad en labios resecos es algo que no puedo transar, especialmente ahora que con el frío mis labios se resienten y sólo aceptan labiales hidratantes.
