[Missha] All around Safe block Total moisture Sun gel SPF50+/PA+++

8 nov 2017

Good day!

The sunblocks -or rather, sun protectors- issue is something that little by little we begin to assimilate into our lives and routines as an element that cannot be postponed. 365 days a year of use, since they are the key to prevent premature aging of the skin and something worse: the cellular damage that ends in skin cancer.

That's why I'm constantly reviewing new options, and I'm glad to have been leaving that fear to filters that were not minerals, for the terror of acne breakouts. Not everything is always so terrible, and many times you find pleasant surprises.

This product doesn't come in a box but simply protected with a thermoplastic. It doesn't contain information in English and only its expiration date is found in the base of the bottle. However remember: sunscreens expire a year (12 months) after being opened.

It has a built-in pumping dispenser, to open it you must turn it.

It contains 200 ml of product.

Ganga, cierto?.

So, step by step and with some sense of adventure I have begun to try other types of sunscreens. The first of organic filters that I tried successfully, was Goodal's watery sun gel, for sensitive skin, but unfortunately had low protection or better said, lacked the high protection I need.

This Missha sunscreen looks a lot like that one from Goodal that I mention, has a very pleasant smell, something floral-citrus that unfortunately does not last long on the skin, and I say unfortunately because the aroma is very pleasant for me. The second point is that it is also a moisturizing sunscreen.
However, the fact that it is moisturizing, doesn't mean it's it sticky, as it is quickly absorbed into the skin, leaving a fairly natural finish, something wet at first, and then with a soft and dry touch.

Contains only organic type filters (or chemicals), so those who have sensitive skin or reactions to these filters, or people with acne is better to use it only for the body, unless you want to test it on your face. I make the warning to avoid a problem that could happen, since allergies and sensitivities are very personal and changing during age, seasons and places.

Even though my skin tends to react with acne, this sunscreen didn't cause me a single breakout. I've been using it since I arrived, since I was going to leave it only as a body sunscreen, but I made the attempt, and I liked it a lot for the face. So here I am, with a bottle that has 2/3 of the remaining product 😏 and that I use every day.

The application is extremely easy: just pump the dispenser, and apply the product where you want. As here our spring still doesn't deign to arrive and settle, I only use it in the exposed parts - face, neck, ears, hands-. After applying it, I let it settle down a little if I'm going to put on makeup, but usually I've been using it alone.

I haven't had the opportunity to try the water or sweat resistant claims - I really have not sweated a long time - so I couldn't say that it is really resistant to water and sweat. In any case, it is necessary to repeat that the sun protection must be reapplied every two hours, or every time you leave the water.

The only "unconvinient"  that I find to this product, maybe it could be the dispenser. Don't get me wrong, the pump dispenser is great to have at home, but if you're traveling, the picture gets a bit complicated.
But! It is something that can be solved. If you remove the dispenser from the bottle and press it while turning the dispenser in the direction to "close" following the thread of the screw, you can close the dispenser again, and therefore, avoid spills. I've done it a couple of times, it's totally replicable. It costs a little but it can be done.

In conclusion: it is a sunscreen with high protection, chemical filters that don't leave a white cast. It is moisturizing but leaves a natural touch, something matte on the skin and has an excellent aroma. The best? It contains 200 ml of product and its price is less than 20 dollars. A bargain, right ?.

↑ No deja capa blanca / Doesn't leave white cast
↑ Tamaño grande / Big size
↑ Buen precio / Affordable
↑ Hidratante / Moisturizing
↑ Con aroma / Scented
↑ No pegajoso / Non sticky
↑ No me provocó brotes / Didn't caused me any breakout
↑ Para cara y cuerpo / For face and body
↑ Textura fácil de esparcir / Easily spreadable

↓ Algún ingrediente podría no ser apto para piel sensible o acneica / Some ingredients could not be suitable for sensitive or acne prone skin.
↓ Dispensador no es apto para viajes / Pumper make it not the best option for travel
