This cleanser packaging follows the same line as the already well-known Low pH good morning gel cleanser (reviewed here). CosRx has a minimalist style and some very look-alike pharmacy style.

It doesn't come in a box, but instead, is completely sealed with a thermo-adjustable plastic.
If you remove the lid, you will see that there is another seal that you must remove, which is the one that is placed in the dispensing hole.

The packaging of this cleanser has all the information in english that we need to know: description, directions, complete ingredients list and cautions. In the upper front end, there is the expiration date of the product, but keep in mind that its lifespan once open, is 12 months.

¿Me gustó?
Si
¿Le hizo bien a mi piel?
No realmente.

Whenever CosRX launches new products to the market, I get excited and I also worry because I would love to be a fan of their products again, as it was when my skin was combination type and my acne issue was terrible. Lately, what Cosrx has created are mostloy, products for combination-oily skin or excess sebum issues, something that doesn't happen to me anymore, since my skin has changed from what it was (oily skin) to an almost normalized skin (and I don't dare to say normal, because from time to time my hormones appear a couple of pimples).

So this product really moved me when I knew what was its function, and what I could expect from.

Do I liked it?Yes
Did my skin had a benefit with it?Not really. I think it didn't liked...

Can an opinion be so different? Unfortunately with skincare products, it's not always everything to love or hate, and sometimes there are halftones, especially when the product works, but your skin doesn't tolerate it well.

This cleanser is a first-step cleanser (oil cleansing) with a milky gel texture. It has a good size, its packaging format is very practical, has excellent pH, has a pleasant scent, is very easy to use, can remove makeup and rinses without difficulty.

Everything looks very nice, right? But sometimes although almost everything is positive, there are some details that make the experience not so great, and low points to the final grade.

Regarding the ingredients, despite being a cleanser that the brand indicates is suitable for sensitive skin, I would recommend be careful about, because although it has good ingredients, some of it are quite problematic... like bergamot oil (irritant, allergen, phototoxic) and two other ingredients that should be avoided by those who have seborrheic dermatitis, fungal acne or in their skin is present the malasezzia fungus (PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil and PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate). In addition, silicones are present in the first places of the formulation - which is not a problem for me - and that might be an issue if you consider that silicones are not your thing.

Despite being a first-step cleanser, you can easily remove both bb cream and sunscreen, and some eye shadows or lipsticks that are not tinted. With waterproof makeup, like mascara, or eyeliner it takes a little more time to remove it, but it finally does. Not completely, but it's something.

I don't recommend that you use it to remove the "point makeup" (eye and lip makeup) both because it implies that you will have to rub a lot, as well as that you will end up with a bit of burning and momentary blindness/cloudiness in your eyes, maybe because since it's strongly perfumed, affects negatively in this sense.

How do I recommend using it: first remove your point makeup with some micellar or cleansing water, or make-up remover (the best option without a doubt) and then apply this milky gel, rubbing gently for a short time, rinse and continue with your cleansing and routine.

As a cleanser I consider that it behaves very well, I have used it for more than a month now, intercalated with the Neogen cleaning water and the Enature balm. But I feel that my skin is not a fan of this product.

That, because the times I have used it, I have gone through different problems that are not common with cleansers of this type. The first time I used it, I felt a slight burning and the next morning I woke up with small white-tipped pimples (without inflammation) that didn't correspond to "period" pimples, since they appeared in places where they usually don't appear (sides of nose, nose, forehead, cheeks) This appearance of those little pimples has become recurrent every time I use this product, but I cannot identify which ingredient is the one that could be causing this problem.

The "burning sensation" problem doesn't always appear, but only when I leave this gel on my skin for longer than necessary, hoping it will be easier to remove the makeup. Tip: don't do it, leaving it on the skin won't make the makeup soften. Apart from that burning sensation, nothing else happens - irritation for example - but with my skincare routine this sensation goes away fast. The culprit: the only suspect is bergamot oil. But I don't want to be emphatic about it for the fact that several products that I currently use and have used previously carry this essential oil (although in less concentration and only as "fragrance") without having ever gone through this problem before.

So in conclusion, although it is a product that cleans fine (not excellent, just "fine"), which is easy to use and easy to rinse, I don't consider it suitable for all skin types. Not for sensitive skin, or for seborrheic dermatitis, at least.

If your skin is dry and without sensitivity, this is a product that you'll enjoy, because it cleans without drying out your skin. The same if your skin is oily, since it rinses quickly and without leaving a greasy residue.
