Usar pestañas postizas siempre fué un sueño y algo bastante imposible para mí. Quienes usan lentes entenderán: las pestañas largas suelen tocar el cristal del lente y molestan al ver, o pueden ensuciarlos.
Pero ya tras la cirugía Lasik, se amplió mi horizonte de cosas que puedo hacer -te pienso, encrespado de pestañas 💞- y entre éstas, el usar pestañas postizas fué mi primer objetivo.
Ahora les voy a contar mi primera experiencia con éstas, de Aritaum.
Using fake lashes was something impossible, but like a dream for me. If you're an glasses user, or maybe you used it before, you'll understand, because long lashes tend to touch the glass and make difficult to see, also they can stain the glass with mascara.
But, after having the lasik surgery, I can do many more things than before -feeling you, permanent curling- and between some, this was the first I made.
Now, I'm going to tell you my first experience with fake lashes, with this ones, from Aritaum brand.

Cada par de pestañas viene en una caja plástica que no trae información en inglés, pero al menos incluye fecha de fabricación en la base de cada una.
Al interior, las pestañas vienen perfectamente y seguramente colocadas en una placa plástica con un poco de adhesivo. Como dato, menciono que cada set de pestañas trae su propio pegamento en una botella pequeña...para que no vayan a hacer como yo y pedir aparte el pegamento 😅.
Lo que tiene de diferente el pegamento individual versus el que trae la caja de pestañas, es que el aplicador viene un pincel muy suave comparado con el de la caja, que es sólo una varita plástica. Lo extra, es un pequeño aplicador plástico que sirve tanto para aplicar las pestañas, como para hacer el doble párpado en pestañas de tipo monopárpado.

Each pair comes in a plastic box that has no english information, but at least they include manufacturing date in the base of the box.
Inside, the lashes came perfectly and safely glued to the plastic inner case. As a tip: please don't buy the glue apart, since each box comes with a little bottle of glue inside.
Something I must mention is the glue bottle it has a couple of differences with the ones that came inside the box. The first is the applicator wand in the full size glue it's a fine brush, compared the little one contained in the box that has only a plastic wand.
The second difference, is the full size glue has another plastic applicator that can be useful for applying the lashes or to make the double eyelid in monolid eyes.
Es mi primera experiencia y ha resultado GENIAL!. Desde mucho, incluso desde jovencita, que tuve curiosidad por pestañas falsas y habían algunos detalles que me hacían desconfiar de si sería algo bueno o cómodo de usar, ya que las pocas veces que tuve en mis manos un par, las sentía muy artificiales y nada suaves para lo que es en comparación sentir las pestañas reales.
Además, al comprar productos que vas a colocar en tus ojos, pues necesitas una seguridad de que no es duro ni tampoco resultará siendo tóxico.
Algo que me complicaba sobremanera, era la colocación de estas pestañas...si bien me las apaño decentemente para hacer delineado o aplicar máscara de pestañas, el tener que poner algo sobre mis pestañas reales, y alinearlo...fue un desafío. La primera vez que las usé lo hice con mucho cuidado y si bien no quedaron alineadas perfecto, quedaron bien decentemente puestas casi al lado de mis pestañas.
Ya la segunda vez había agarrado la técnica y seguridad, así que la puesta quedó mejor alineada, bien cerca de mis pestañas. Si eres principiante no tengas tanto miedo...siguiendo ciertos consejos me fue bastante mejor de lo que esperaba, y verás que en las fotos casi ni se nota que llevara pestañas postizas, porque para que la línea no se vea, hay que delinear y luego delinear otra vez cuando ya pusiste las pestañas y así lucen más naturales aún.
El pegamento dura todo el día sin salirse, tampoco irrita los ojos. Es fácil de remover con desmaquillante o aceite de limpieza, tan sólo basta empapar un algodón, dejarlo unos segundos sobre los párpados y verás que las pestañas salen fácilmente sin siquiera tener que tirar. Además, con el mismo algodón puedes ir limpiando las pestañas, enjuagarlas y poder usarlas en una próxima ocasión, ya que no pierden ni su forma ni su curvatura.
Antes de usarlas, debes medirlas para ver si se adaptan perfectamente al largo de tu ojo, o si debes recortarlas un poco. Con el número 3, Dolly eye, tuve que recortar un poco, porque o sino el exceso iba a sentirse incómodo. Con la variedad 8, Side volume, no tuve que recortar nada.
Pese a que ambas se ven preciosas, en la experiencia y en cuanto a mi percepción de persona con pocas y cortas pestañas, me sentí más cómoda usando el número 8. Lo sentí más natural y más "piola" como diríamos aquí en Chile, porque como va poco a poco aumentando el volumen hacia el rabillo del ojo, se nota más natural.
El número 3 es notorio, creo que es perfecto para una ocasión especial donde necesites atraer atención a tus ojos, ya que tanto el volumen que da, como el largo, es más llamativo que la versión side volume.
Si me preguntan cómo se llevan con los lentes, con lentes ópticos ya no sabría decirles...pero con lentes de sol van perfecto. No chocan ni los ensucian.
¿Cómo se usan? Pues primero los despegué del empaque donde venían, revisé el largo y una vez ya comprobado que me iban bien, me maquillé los ojos con un delineado suave y tienes que encrespar tus pestañas. Puedes tomar las pestañas con tus dedos o ayudarte de una pinza, y ahí aplicas el pegamento en la línea que une todas las pestañas. Lo dejas secar un poco (el pegamento pasa de blanco a transparente) y lo vas poniendo sobre la línea de tus pestañas, lentamente y acomodándolas.
Una vez que las tienes ya en línea, puedes aplicar máscara de pestañas para que tus pestañas y las extensiones, se fundan de un modo que parezca más natural.
¿Resisten al agua? Si, estoy constantemente ocupando lágrimas artificiales y nunca se despegaron.
¿Resisten el frote? Si, pese a que el médico me indicó no frotarme los ojos, de cuando en cuando se me olvida y lo hago.
Si compran varias cajitas, por favor, abran sólo una de las botellas de pegamento. Duran 6 meses una vez abiertas, así que si cuidan de ello, pueden tener ración para mucho tiempo.
En conclusión...me tienen muy feliz, puedo reutilizar las pestañas, la mirada se ve más bonita y coqueta con ellas, el maquillaje también destaca más...son baratas en precio, tienen varios modelos para elegir y pues, son las que más recomiendan en Corea.

It's my first experience with fake eyelashes and it has been GREAT! Since a lot, even as a young girl, I was curious about false eyelashes and there were some details that made me think again about , mostly if they would be something good or comfortable to use, since the few times I had a pair in my hands, I felt it very artificial and nothing soft for what it is in comparison to feel my real eyelashes.
Also, when buying products that you will put in your eyes, you need a security that is not something rough and won't turn out to be toxic for it.
Something that complicated me at first, was the placement of these eyelashes... although I manage decently to make eyelines or apply mascara, having to put something on my real eyelashes, and align it... it was a challenge. The first time I used them I did it very carefully, and although they weren't perfectly aligned, they were decently placed almost next to my eyelashes.
And the second time I had grasped the technique and was feeling more secure about it, so the placement was better aligned, close to my eyelashes. If you're a beginner, don't be afraid... following some tips online, I had a better experience than I expected, and you'll see that in the photos you can hardly see the false eyelashes, because in order to avoid seeing the line, you have to make an eyeline and then draw another over it once you placed the lashes, and that...makes it look even more natural.
The glue lasts all day without losing the grip, it doesn't irritate the eyes either. It's easy to remove it with point makeup remover or cleansing oil, just soak a cotton with that, leave it a few seconds on the eyelids and you'll see that the eyelashes come out easily without even having to pull it from the eye. In addition, with the same cotton you can clean the fake eyelashes, rinse them and use them on the next occasion, since they don't lose their shape or curvature.
Before using them, you should measure it to see if they can adapt perfectly to the length of your eye, or if you should cut them a little. With the number 3, Dolly eye, I had to cut back a bit, because otherwise the excess would feel uncomfortable on my eyelid. With the variety 8, Side volume, I didn't had to cut anything.
Although both are beautiful, in my experience and perception of person with few and short lashes, I felt more comfortable using the number 8. I felt more natural because gradually increases the volume out to the corner of the eye, so it feels more mimicked.
The number 3 is notorious, I think it's perfect for a special occasion where you need to attract attention to your eyes, as both the volume that gives, as the length, is more striking than the side volume version.
If you ask me how they go along with lenses, with optical lenses I wouldn't know how now... but with sunglasses they are perfect. They don't touch it or mess up.
How are they used? Well, first I took them off the packaging where they came from, I checked the length and once it was proven that they were going well, I put on my eyes with a soft eyeline and had to curl my eyelashes. You can take the fake lashes with your fingers or help with a tweezer, and then you apply the glue on the line that joins all the lashes. Let it dry a little (the glue goes from white to transparent) and put it on the line of your eyelashes, slowly and accommodating them.
Once you have them well placed, you can apply mascara so that your eylashes and the extensions are merged in a way that seems more natural.
Do they resist water? Yes, I am constantly using artificial tears and they never lose off.
Do you resist rubbing? Yes, although the doctor told me not rub my eyes, from time to time I forget and I did it. But the eyelashes were firm.
If you buy several boxes, please open only one of the glue bottles. They last 6 months once they're opened, so if you take care of it, you can have a ration for a long time.
In conclusion ... I'm very happy, I can reuse the eyelashes, the appearance looks more beautiful and flirtatious with them, the makeup also stands out more... they are cheap in price, they have several models to choose from and therefore, they are the ones that Most recommended in Korea.
